Title:SAHH001.jpg
Description:Half Hall Farm was listed as How Fall in the 1774 Waldershelf Window Bill and was taxed for seven windows. The 1871 Census returns recorded it as Hauve Hall, James Hattersley occupied it in 1851 and his son was still living there in 1891, one of the few farms to stay in the same family throughout that period. The Silver Fox public house now stands on the site.
