Description:Bank House in the centre foreground of this photograph was once a doctorís surgery run by Dr. Mossman and then later by Dr. Goldie. More recently, prior to its demolition it was used as part of the Works Design office. With the introduction of the Stocksbridge railway, the rails ran across the foreground of the picture, the building on the right of Bank House was erected to serve as the Railway Dining Rooms and wedding receptions were often held there. The other terraces on the hillside are Honeymoon Row in the centre and Derbyshire Row on the right, the end of Gentlemanís Row can be seen in the top left hand corner of the photograph
